Full Circle - U.S. Marine Corps Public Service Announcement
Generations of Marines have fought and won for our Nation and then returned home as quality citizens who visibly and positively impact their communities and those around them. This is because every Marine makes the same promise: To remain faithful to the cause of our Nation, to the Corps, and to each other. That is the meaning of Semper Fidelis. Always Faithful. Carbon
If you are planning on running carbon in your media reactor these are the steps you will take:
1. Take a supplied sponge and put it in the inner chamber and place at the bottom of the tube
2. Take the manufacture recommended amount of carbon and pour it into the tube
3. Take another sponge and "sandwich" it on top of the carbon
NOTE: If you run a finer carbon please use the additional sponges provided and place a second sponge on the top and bottom.
4. Rinse your carbon with water until it runs clear
NOTE: The use of Reverse Osmosis water is preferred
5. Lastly place the cap on the inner chamber and insert into the outer chamber
Granular Ferric Oxide (G.F.O.)
If you are planning on running GFO in your reactor the steps are the almost same as carbon. In this case you will not "sandwich" the GFO.
1. Take the manufacture recommended amount of carbon and pour it into the tube
2. Take the supplied sponge and place it just underneath the cap
3. Rinse your GFO with water until it runs clear
NOTE: The use of Reverse Osmosis water is preferred
Bio Pellets
When running Bio Pellets in your reactor you will not need the supplied sponges
1. Take the manufacture recommended amount of bio pellet and pour it into the tube
2. Rinse your bio pellets with water
3. Place the cap on the inner chamber and insert into the outer chamber
NOTE: The use of Reverse Osmosis water is preferred
Dial in the Flow!
To dial in the flow these are step you need to take:
1. Check the water level on the back of your tank
2. After inserting your reactor into the back of your aquarium, make a mark on your reactor's body where you water level is set
3. Place the reactor into the front of your aquarium
4. Adjust reactor's height to your mark that you have made, this will ensure that your media tumbles the same rate in front of your tank as well as the back.
NOTE: Make sure your reactor is in the "closed" position so your media does not escape your reactor and enter into your system
5. Turn on the reactor and slowly use turn the adjustment cap clockwise to achieve the desired amount of flow.
6. Turn off your reactor then place it back into the rear of your aquarium readjust the height of the reactor to the water level mark and turn reactor back on.

The versatile MiniMax is designed to be discreetly hidden behind All-In-One Aquariums or placed directly in sumps.
The MiniMax is the All-In-One reactor for All-In-One Aquariums
1. Responsive Flow Control -- Unique dual chamber design, allows for quick and responsive flow control within seconds with a simple turn of knob without the need for ball valves and inlet/outlet pipes
2. Efficiency -- Utilizes upward flow pattern that requires less flow and lower energy consumption (Desktop Model -- requires a mere 2.5 watts)
3. Eliminate Messy Maintenance -- Internal chamber acts as a removable cartridge that simply slides out of outer chamber and automatically drains water out without the need for tools and time consuming thumb screws to unfasten.
4. Nano Size -- We produced the smallest Nano Reactor (2" x 2.3" x 11.4") with the integrated features right out the box
Features:
• All-In-One Design -- for use with Bio Pellets, GFO, & Carbon
• Made from quality cell cast acrylic -- Bracket Included
• Smallest Form Factor
• Responsive Flow Control
• Low Power Consumption
• Double O-Ring Seal for Lid
• Offered in Desktop (150ml Max Volume Capacity) & Midsize (350ml Max Volume Capacity)
• Pump Included

http://www.filterpro.co.uk
It has been a long time in development but we now have a specific filter media available for marine (saltwater) use. Building on the success of the 'Biohome ultimate' filter media the added trace elements in this media have been specifically chosen to benefit marine bacteria.
This causes the media to be even more receptive to bacterial colonisation, allowing it to mature faster and the trace elements also act as a catalyst during bacterial processes enabling waste to be processed faster.
The Biohome marine still has the perfect balance of large and small pores found in the mini ultra and ultimate media so supports an excellent balance of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria enabling the processing of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. End product is harmless nitrogen gas which is taken up by plants or exchanged with atmosphere.
This means better water quality, healthier fish and less water changes for you.
However there is another (unexpected) benefit to using Biohome marine.....During the long testing period the people testing the media reported the rapid cycling and excellent water quality associated with all Biohome media but also that their corals were much more colourful, healthier and produced more polyps more regularly.
This is possibly due to the excellent water quality but may be due to other bacterial processes boosted by the trace elements in the media. Since launching the marine media other fish keepers around the world have reported the same health boosting effect on corals too.
If you want to purchase Biohome marine or any other Biohome filter media please check out my website link at top of this description.
For non-UK fish keepers there are links to other suppliers around the world on every page of the website (flags) which will take you directly to the website of your nearest supplier.
If you are running an external filter you may want to consider the 'External filter upgrade kit' on my website which are available in 1kg, 3kg and 5kg sizes and if you are unsure about how an external filter should be set up properly please click here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lsAmSD3wVbg
On the Filterpro website there is a Q&A page which contains answers to questions many people have asked me over so check that out for some quick answers to questions you may have.
If you have been using Biohome media in your filter please feel free to comment on the performance in the comment section on Youtube for the benefit of viewers.

Always Marine.
